On December 26th, the Fujian Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology issued a document titled "Several Measures to Support the Recycling and Utilization of Waste Power Batteries from New Energy Vehicles across the Province." The document proposes that provincial special funds for energy conservation and circular economy will provide a one-time reward of 200,000 RMB to each enterprise that meets the industry-standard conditions. For enterprises with an annual processing capacity of 10,000 tons or more and an annual utilization of renewable materials reaching 5,000 tons (or 750,000 KWh) or more, as well as having complete information and engaging in the production of precursor materials or positive electrode materials, a subsidy of 1,000 RMB per ton (or 6.6 RMB per KWh) will be given. The maximum subsidy for a single enterprise is 10 million RMB. Participation in the revision of recycling and utilization standards for waste power batteries in new energy vehicles by enterprises is encouraged. Provincial special funds for energy conservation and circular economy will reward enterprises that take the lead in developing national, industry, and local standards for recycling and utilization of waste power batteries with a maximum of 1 million RMB, 500,000 RMB, and 200,000 RMB, respectively.
